This classic yurt-style bungalow has two stories with 360 degree views of the surrounding gardens and wildlife on the bottom level. This bungalow features one double bed, one single bed, hammocks for lounging, mosquito nets on the beds, a private open-air shower, basic solar powered electricity and steps away from a bathroom space.

This cabin has a maximum occupancy of 2-3 women. Choose to stay in a single bed (1 bed) or a double bed (1 bed).

Cancellation Policy

Your reservation is confirmed once your payment has been successfully completed through our website using Shopify, either by paying in full or by selecting Shop Pay Installments (if eligible).

All payments made toward the Retreat, including deposits, are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason, including but not limited to changes in personal circumstances, travel delays, or emergencies. We encourage you to confirm your availability, travel plans, and financial readiness before reserving your space.

Selecting Shop Pay Installments does not alter or waive this cancellation policy. Guests who choose installment payments remain subject to the same non-refundable booking terms as guests who pay in full.

Required Travel Insurance

Because retreat payments are non-refundable after the grace period, comprehensive travel insurance is required for all participants.

Coverage must include, at a minimum:

Nestled deep in the jungle of Costa Rica’s Golfo Dulce—one of only four tropical fjords in the world—this retreat is unlike any other. Unwind in the serene ocean-front property of Dolphin Quest with optional activities like kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, hammock lounging, wildlife observation, and more during your free time.

You will need to purchase 2 flights (or take a bus for the second half of the journey).

To ensure a smooth and grounded arrival for everyone, guests will fly into San José (SJO) and then continue on to either Golfito or Puerto Jiménez with Green Airways or Sansa Airlines, depending on which best aligns with your international landing time.

Guests also have the option to take a bus from San Jose to Golfito with Tracopa for $20 USD. Bus leaves at 6:30 am, 7:00 am, or 3:30 pm from San Jose and it is about an 8-hour drive. Bus is a comfortable coach bus with AC but no WiFi. It makes 2 stops for restroom break and food.

We ask that all guests arrive in Golfito or Puerto Jiménez by Wednesday, August 12th. You will stay your first night in town. We will book your stay in a hotel (included in retreat price) for this night. This allows everyone time to settle in, rest after travel, and ensures the full group has arrived before heading together to the jungle-lodge.

On Thursday morning, August 13th, we will pick up the group after breakfast and travel together by boat to Dolphin Quest Jungle Lodge, where the retreat officially begins.

Additional travel details, hotel information, and coordination support will be shared closer to the retreat date to make this process as easy and stress-free as possible.

You’ll need to purchase 2 flights. An international flight to San José (SJO) and a domestic flight with Sansa Airlines or GreenAirways to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez. You will stay the night in either location and we will arrange boat transportation to pickyou up in the morning and take you to Dolphin Quest Jungle-Lodge.

Our home for the week is Dolphin Quest Jungle Lodge, a 500-acre rustic and soulful jungle-lodge run by locals who care deeply for the land. Only accessible by boat and surrounded by lush jungle, this rustic jungle-lodge provides the perfect setting for inner and outer exploration. Meals, workshops, and community moments are all held steps away from the ocean.
