about

Isabella Ramirez, MS

True wellness goes far beyond food. In my work as a nutritionist and health coach, I’ve learned that we can’t talk about nutrition without first addressing our emotional wellbeing. Our habits, choices, and relationship with food are deeply influenced by stress, burnout, lifestyle demands, and how connected we feel to ourselves.

My journey into nutrition began as a research coordinator in community nutrition interventions at the University of Florida. Working with rural populations living in food deserts, I witnessed firsthand the real barriers people face when it comes to building healthy habits. This experience shaped the way I approach wellness today—understanding that behavior change is never just about knowledge, but about environment, emotional wellbeing, and support.

That passion eventually led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Nutrition Communications, Interventions, and Behavior Change from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. My studies focused on how people actually build sustainable health habits—bridging the gap between nutrition science and real-life behavior.

Working closely with individuals throughout my education and professional experiences strengthened my belief that wellness must be approached holistically, taking into account both physical health and emotional wellbeing.

nature as my guide

Nature has always been my greatest teacher. I was born in Colombia, where some of my earliest memories include visiting farms, hiking through jungles, and swimming in rivers. Being outdoors always felt natural and grounding to me.

That connection deepened when I first traveled to Costa Rica in 2020 and visited an off-grid jungle lodge called Dolphin Quest. So much about this place made everything click. Surrounded by so much nature, I was reminded of how much modern life has disconnected us from the very things that support our wellbeing.

Since then, my mission has been to serve as a bridge—helping modern-day women reconnect with nature as a guide to health. When we return to the basics that nature provides—real food, sunlight, movement, rest, and presence—we begin to come back into alignment with ourselves.

Through 1:1 coaching, I help individuals reconnect with these foundations while building practical habits that support long-term wellness.
